Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next Level Edition – £32.49 (usually £64.99)
Starting at the more expensive end, though still half price, is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a spin-off of the Borderlands series. This is a first-person shooter action-adventure like its parent series, but has a considerably more whimsical tone.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut – £16.49 (usually £32.99)
A narrative-based role player game that draws inspiration from table-top RPGs. Featuring a fully fleshed-out alternative world and a host of complex and quirky characters makes this game a joy to explore.
Cult of the Lamb – £19.99 (usually £24.99)
A roguelike starring a lamb saved from the slaughter by a mysterious godlike figure. Cult of the Lamb starts as it means to go on, with its unique art style and rewarding gameplay loop.
Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2: Enhanced Edition – £14.39 (usually £47.99)
The legendary duology that introduced an entire generation to Dungeons and Dragons, and the Forgotten Realms setting. The Enhanced Edition is an improved and updated version, but still provides plenty of nostalgia value
A bargain for less than a tenner
God of War – £7.99 (usually £15.99)
The soft reboot of the God of War series transports Kratos to the Norse lands to face new adventures, and new things to kill alongside his son. Stellar vocal performances and gorgeous scenery make this game a joy to explore
Creed: Rise to Glory – £5.99 (usually £19.99)
Best played in virtual reality (VR) this game is a must for fans of boxing, as it is one of the best simulations of the boxing experience. Players get to follow the career or Adonis creed, with Rocky Balboa himself as your trainer.
Salt and Sanctuary – £2.99 (usually £14.99)
A 2D action RPG heavily inspired by From Software’s Dark Souls series. This game is worth paying for purely to see the beautiful hand-drawn graphics in motion. There is also an extensive skill tree to experiment with to find the best combination to plough through enemies.
Cat Quest – £1.99 (usually £9.99) Cat Quest II – £2.39 (usually £11.99)
The Cat Quest games are small action-adventure titles with RPG elements reflective of the early Legend of Zelda titles. Only with cats. And dogs. And loads and loads of puns.
AI: The Somnium Files – £6.99 (usually £34.99)
Developer Spike Chunsoft are adept at combining mystery and adventure with the multiple-choice routes of a visual novel. AI: The Somnium Files is a complex, brain-bending adventure that has a range of endings to explore.
The Park – £3.99 (usually £9.99)
A chilling psychological horror that takes place in an abandoned theme park as a mother desperately searches for her missing son.
Rez Infinite – £7.49 (usually £24.99)
Originally released way back on the Dreamcast, this trippy musical rail shooter holds up just as well in the modern day. If you have a PSVR, you can even enjoy it in virtual reality.
