It’s that time of the year again! While much of the country is preparing for the holiday season, we at Yorkshire Bylines wanted to look back over the year gone, and use the opportunity for one last chance to highlight the various scandals that have rocked both our national and local governments over the past year.

Over the next 24 days, we will open a door on our Advent Calendar of Scandal, to offer a brief window into the failings at the heart of government. We will present 12 national stories, and 12 local ones, which showed those in power failing in their responsibility to wield power responsibly.

Click on today’s window to reveal the next scandal!
