Vicky Seddon

Vicky Seddon was a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, worked in student services, and represented staff on its governing body. A trade union activist, she was elected national treasurer of NATFHE (now part of UCU) for several years. Now retired, she campaigns on democracy issues with 'Sheffield for Democracy' and 'Unlock Democracy'. When Sheffield's Graves Gallery was threatened with closure, her love of arts drove her to join “Sheffield Visual Art Group” which campaigns for public access to the arts.
