Tasfiah is a Bangladeshi human rights lawyer currently based in London. She holds an LLM in human rights law from Oxford Brookes University and is currently pursuing her bar course with the intention of becoming a barrister in the UK very soon. Tasfiah has been active with her volunteer work, where she supports vulnerable individuals navigating immigration, asylum, and public law systems. She coordinates youth advocacy projects with the Girls Human Rights Hub and writes on rule of law, democratic accountability, and women’s rights. Her work is grounded in both legal training and lived experience, particularly in response to recent political events in Bangladesh.
