Marie Tidball

Marie was born in Barnsley and grew up in Penistone, where her parents still live. She is a nationally renowned disability rights activist who has produced award-winning campaigns which have been recognised for driving disability inclusion within academia, civil society, and government. Marie is founding director and coordinator of the Oxford University disability law and policy project, which increases inclusion of disability in curriculum, policy-relevant research and impact initiatives at the university. She previously worked as policy and legal officer for Autism West Midlands in Birmingham and as a journalist for Channel 4 News.
