Jonathan Trigell

Jonathan Trigell is an author with dual nationality, dividing his time between the North East of England and East of France. He has five published books, winning the Waverton Award, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the inaugural World Book Day Prize. He has had works translated into French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Korean.

Trigell's novel - Boy A - was dramatised by Cuba Pictures and Film4. It was directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn, The Goldfinch) starring Andrew Garfield and Peter Mullan. The production won four BAFTA Awards and the Jury Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
