Helen Tomlinson

Helen was born and brought up in East Yorkshire, went to the College of Ripon and York St. John to study music and English and then Goldsmith's College, University of London where she completed her training to teach. She has lived in North Yorkshire over 30 years and has brought up three children in the area whilst also teaching in local schools and in the wider community. Helen now lives in Sowerby and is a supply teacher as well as having time for her interests of writing, singing, reading and walking. She is co-chair of the Thirsk and Malton branch of the Labour Party.
