Colin Noble is an ex-teacher, local education authority and government adviser. He was the national coordinator of the National Healthy Schools Programme and later a senior adviser for the 'behaviour and attendance' programme for the Department for Education. He has had four books about education published by Routledge – about boys’ achievement and PSHE – and is currently a governor in Leeds as well as working as an adviser in schools on wellbeing and developing the whole pupil. He is a member of Leeds Green Party and has been the coordinator of the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Green Party.
