Chris Nickson is a well-known music journalist and author. He's written many celebrity biographies as well as being a frequent contributor to numerous music magazines. He first started writing as a boy growing up in Leeds, then later made a living as a music journalist, specialising in world and roots music. He published his first novel in 2010 and has since become an established and renowned author of historical crime fiction. Chris is currently writer-in-residence at Abbey House Museum, Leeds.
