Charlie, from an early age, wanted to ‘feed the world’. But, after a BSc in agricultural zoology, a MSc in applied plant science then a doctorate on soil ecology, he realised producing more food was not the problem, but the way it was produced. He created the magazine ‘Hazards Bulletin', now nearly 50 years later, just ‘Hazards'. For over 30 years he represented the rural workers of Unite on the Health & Safety Executive. Recently he wrote the first Masters in regenerative food & farming.
