Casey is a journalism student at the University of Sheffield, originally from Derbyshire. She's passionate about local news and the importance of covering issues that provide a voice for communities. Casey is currently head of news at Forge Press and has published articles that feature in Manchester Evening News and The Daily Express. She specialises in news writing and hopes to gain more experience in the future to become a more advanced journalist.
