Anne is a retired secondary deputy headteacher, initially a French teacher, who moved to the Yorkshire Dales with husband Peter 15 years ago. A keen amateur musician she has been involved in choral music since childhood and founded Buckden Singers in 2007. She is also chair of governors of a federation of four local primary schools. She has two daughters, both teachers, and a baby grandson. Her interests also include reading, theatre, politics, swimming and travelling.
